1. Hotteok means hot tteok and is one of the representative Korean street foods of the winter season. Hotteok is a type of filled pancake. Handful-sized balls of this chewy dough are filled with a sweet mixture contained brown sugar, Honey, chopped peanuts, cinnamon and more.

2. Made from wheat-based dough with honey, yeast and sweet rice added which enhances the chewy texture on the outside and the gooey texture on the inside.  

3. Crushed peanuts are added to highlight the nutty flavor.
